Early Spring League Registration 

Leagues run from approximately March 1 – April 30. 

PLEASE READ

• 2/28 Update – Registration extended for Thursday and no Tuesday league this season: We can support 1 more team on Thursdays in case anyone would like to jump in last minute before things start on Thurs, March 5. We will push a potential Tues league to next season’s (May/June) registration when that opens up around April 1.
• Fuquay-Varina Location Leagues Listed Below! League opportunities also exist at our Apex Location (CLICK HERE) 
• We will be trying to sync with the Apex league seasons more this year at this newer location. As a result, our normal season set-up will now involve 6 weeks of regular season play over a 6 or 7 week (if bye weeks are in effect) period followed by a mini-tournament week (weather permitting). We try to ensure playing against 2 opponents each week (2 sets to 21 against each most likely with each set counting as win/loss), whenever possible. If we are able to get an additional court in play for this season that will definitely help this area too.
• Bye week: If we are our caps for a division, we may introduce a bye week during the season for each team If you have a preference, please specify in your Comments field. We will confirm whether a particular league will have a bye week for each team about 1-2 weeks before the season starts.
• Prices listed below are the total  ‘team’ registration fee.
• Coed 3s/4s (Triples/Quads) leagues are played on the ‘smaller’ court configuration used for 2s as well unless otherwise stated. We have found that to best accommodate the potential mix of 3s and 4s teams in a league this has worked well for most. Three or four person teams are permitted with at least 1 woman on the court at all times.
• Sign-up early to secure a spot! Caps may change based on registration trends.
• Clinics/Refresher Sessions: During the registration period of the upcoming Adult league season, we try to offer one or more clinic events for those looking to gain some pointers and/or sharpen their beach volleyball game in an instructor-led environment. The instruction will be catered to the needs/desires of those attending using the principles of 2 person beach volleyball play. Contact Jenny for details.
• We have had a couple incidents reported in the past where people simply see the page refresh after hitting the submit button below. This does NOT mean the submission worked. If you don’t get a message saying the ‘Registration was Successful’ then send an email to Mark with your team’s registration info and he will get you added manually. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If a division is targeted for a specific level of play it will be listed as such: Competitive – For highly proficient play and seeking the highest competition level for league play. Typically AA and lower Open level tournament level players, Semi-competitive – For proficient play, middle-of-the-road type players. Typically A tournament level players. Recreational – For newer and/or social players. For everyone to get the most out of the experience, please be realistic about your level of play.

If a league is no longer showing below to register, it’s full but email Mark about getting on a wait-list in the event something opens up. With enough interest, we may consider Friday evening as an overflow night so specify whether that is a possibility when sending an inquiry.

  • Coed Triples/Quads – Semi-Competitive- Capping at 5 teams – Postponed to Late Spring season (April/May)
• Thursday evenings – approx 7:15-9:30PM
  • Coed Triples/Quads – Competitive – Capping at 5 teams – 1 more team spot is available

(Note: We will be aiming to try to start as early as 6:30PM for the first couple weeks of this season before junior practices start happening beforehand. This will also help with getting in more play overall for the season.)

Leagues are open to players 16 years old or older. Younger players can participate on a team at the discretion of the adult team captain and preferably playing with an adult. Two females under the age of 18 are NOT permitted to play as a team in a coed 2s or men’s 2s division.
